- Try removing the accelerator. My GVP 1230 @40 MHz crapped out with
- exactly the same symptoms as yours. When I removed it, everything worked
- fine. If I inserted it again, same symptoms as you described. I was able
- to use it for about a year afterward by yanking down on the board a few
- times before booting, although I ran about a 90% chance of it crashing
- sometime during the session. Now it is absolutely dead ;-(
