  16. Try removing the accelerator.  My GVP 1230 @40 MHz crapped out with
  17. exactly the same symptoms as yours.  When I removed it, everything worked
  18. fine.  If I inserted it again, same symptoms as you described.  I was able
  19. to use it for about a year afterward by yanking down on the board a few
  20. times before booting, although I ran about a 90% chance of it crashing
  21. sometime during the session.  Now it is absolutely dead ;-(
  22.
